For her 2004 exhibition “Silencing The Lambs”, renowned artist Madison Rose hospitalised herself for three weeks, encouraging fellow patients to share their qualms upon a hospital wall. The following piece titled ‘Shower Curtain Written By Suffers Of Schizophrenia”, utilises the metaphor of a shower curtain to illustrate the horrifying mindset into suffers of an overlooked social issue- the impact of mental illness upon it’s victims.
